Astrology Readings

Astrology chart readings provide the opportunity for a comprehensive look at you. Many clients want to ask, in essence, who and how they are, and what you came here to do. Neither I nor the discipline of astrology can answer these questions for you, but instead together we can use divination as a tool that helps you get in touch with some of the answers that you already have within. There are many different ways to engage with astrology: it is not inherently religious, or even spiritual. During readings, I invite you to consider the concepts and questions that your birth chart raises within the framework of your own values or beliefs. Through examining the joys, challenges, and learning curves that the planets make available to you, I hope to connect you with a greater sense of agency and choice—never the opposite. Do not give astrology, or any other modality of healing, spirituality, or divination, undue power over you. Readings are a collaborative process, and we will work together to interpret the astrological data that makes up your chart. I will ask you questions, and it’s possible that you will talk more than I do in a session. I believe astrology does its best work when it leaves us with more questions than answers.

I practice and study traditional, Hellenistic astrology. I also use some Medieval techniques. While there are many Anglophone astrologers who have influenced my practice, I primarily learned at Saturnalia, in Curitiba, Brazil. Importantly, this background means that I use whole sign houses. You may be used to seeing your chart through a different house system, so it may seem unfamiliar to you when we first pull it up. I ask that you try on the new system and interpretation within the space of our consultation. While much of Hellenistic astrology, and my training, is oriented towards applying astrology to understand external events and their impact on individuals, my preference is to use astrological analysis to explore your inner life rather than your material circumstances.

Consultations are forty minutes to an hour long.

Tarot Readings

While astrology readings tend to be more general, and address overarching life themes, tarot readings provide detailed information about specific moments. If you’re looking for a deep dive into a particular topic that’s coming up for you right now, I recommend a tarot reading. Readings are a collaborative process: we work together to interpret the meanings of the cards, the images, and the life experiences that you connect them with.
